Dental Workflows

Designed specifically for the dental industry, the NXD 200Pro offers world-class dental model manufacturing capabilities at ultrafast speeds with validated Keystone performance dental resins. The NXD 200Pro offers high throughput to keep dental operations productive, with a large build plate to create up to 20 flat 3D-printed dental models in less than 30 minutes.

Dental Material Certifications

This dental 3D printer is compatible with FDA and MPG-approved materials. Additionally, Keystone materials and workflows have been validated as Keystone-compliant, guaranteeing the safety and effectiveness of medical devices produced using the NXD 200Pro.

High-Speed Dental 3D Printing System

Nexa3D's NXD 200Pro uses proprietary LSPc patented technology to continuously print up to 8.5 liters of parts volume 275 x 155 x 200 mm (10.8 x 6.3 x 7.8 in.) at speeds of up to 10 mm (3/8 in.) per minute. This Pro-series printer uses the latest generation light engine with patented Everlast diaphragm technology to minimize pull-off forces and maximize pull-off speed.

NexaX 2.0 Software

This dental 3D printer uses NexaX software specially developed for user-friendliness. NexaX 2.0 software optimizes the additive manufacturing cycle using process algorithms to ensure production consistency and part performance.

Dental Material Production Features

With its multiple application-specific dental features, the NXD 200Pro establishes new benchmarks for dental material productivity. Using KeyModel Ultra™ for orthodontic and dental models results in a complete build platform printed in less than 30 minutes. This printer also features KeySplint Soft™ and KeySplint Hard™ for producing bite splints, occlusal splints, or knee splints. In as little as one hour and 45 minutes, a complete build platform with 30-40 splints can be printed. The NXD 200Pro also features Key Guide® for drill guides. It delivers a complete build platform with 30-60 drill guides in approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

Everlast-2 Membrane

The Everlast-2 membrane provides exceptional durability alongside superior print speed and quality. It can withstand up to 25 times more printed layers than comparable films.

Post-Production Features

The NXD 200Pro's xCURE system is new, intelligent post-processing technology for curing all photoplastic-based parts. It is designed to rapidly and consistently deliver desired mechanical part properties at production scale. The xCURE and xWASH post-processing systems accommodate up to two build platforms simultaneously for a streamlined workflow. Moreover, xCLEAN is an environmentally friendly and highly efficient solvent that works well with a majority of photopolymer 3D printers and resin systems available in the market.

Materials

The NXD 200Pro is equipped with 510K cleared and class II certified materials for high-performance orthodontic and dental models. Nexa3D's recommended materials are suitable for the LSPc process, delivering accuracy, durability, and speed. Nexa3D has a wide selection of resins, including two newly developed ones compatible with the NXD 200Pro that can increase dental 3D printing throughput by up to 50%. The new resins are:

xDENT201

xDENT201 is a rapid modeling resin suitable for orthodontic models, capable of producing 10 flat models in 20 minutes while maintaining over 93% accuracy at a 100-micron deviation. Its dimensional stability, visibility, and fine feature details, combined with an economical price, make it a popular choice for high-volume model production in aligner manufacturing or orthodontic modeling.

xDENT341

xDENT341 is a fine-detail resin intended for 3D printing removable die models, offering remarkable accuracy and stability. With a 93% dimensional accuracy rate at a 50-micron deviation, it outperforms the dental industry's standard of 65%. Its precise margins and contacts guarantee a proper fit for custom prosthodontic treatments like crowns and bridges, and its quick production time makes it a preferred choice.

Applications

The NXD 200Pro is well suited to a variety of dental 3D printing applications, including model creation, custom trays, drilling templates, and more.

Dental and Orthodontic Models

Using KeyModel Ultra™, you can create dental and orthodontic models ideal for thermoforming aligners or dental working models.

Flexible Bite Splints, Knee Splints, and Bleaching Trays

KeySplint Soft facilities the printing of splints and trays from robust and flexible materials that don't become brittle. Products printed using KeySplint Soft deliver reliable tooth protection with flexibility that increases comfort.

Custom Impression Trays

KeyTray™ quickly and accurately fabricates custom impression trays that are strong and durable. It is compatible with all types of impression materials.

Drlling Templiates

Using KeyGuide, sterilizable, accurate surgical guides are easily fabricated to ensure precise implant placement.
