Industrial-quality 3D printing at an affordable desktop price. ThXiP combines a compact footprint with a large build volume and fast print speed, ensuring that you get your work done efficiently. Its open material platform provides ultimate flexibility, allowing access a broad range of rigid and elastomeric materials.

The Nexa3D XiP resin 3D printer is a versatile machine that offers the convenience and affordability of a desktop printer while delivering the efficiency of a larger 3D printer. By using a scaled-down version of LSPc technology, the XiP provides a perfect solution for professionals struggling with the additive manufacturing gap. This printer quickly produces prototypes and production-grade components that meet the needs of various sectors, including engineering, medical, dental, and education-related fields.

Besides its rapid production capabilities, the XiP boasts an impressive 4.8L build volume while maintaining a compact footprint. It also features an open material platform, allowing easy access to a range of materials and flexibility. The XiP is compatible with general-purpose and elastomeric materials, as well as ABS-like resins, polypropylene-like resins, and many other types of resins.

Fast Print Speed

Utilizing Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) Technology, the XiP desktop 3D printer offers blazing fast printing speeds of up to 18 cm per hour.

Open Material Platform

The XiP boasts a fully open material platform that grants you ultimate flexibility and allows you to access the materials you need precisely when you need them.

Easily Upgradeable

The modular structure of the XiP is engineered for frequent use, with industrial-grade components that optimize usability, serviceability, and upgradability.

XiP Technology

Resin 3D printing technology can be broadly categorized into three generations: first-generation Stereolithography (SLA), second-generation Digital Light Processing (DLP), and third-generation Masked Stereolithography (mSLA). The XiP 3D printer features Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) printing technology, which is a type of mSLA and can be considered the next generation of mSLA technology. The XiP addresses the challenge of fast printing with its innovative self-lubricated membrane, which resists sticking to the LCD screen and the printed part, enabling faster printing speeds.

While both traditional SLA and mSLA cure resin with exposure to ultraviolet light, mSLA uses a UV light source positioned behind an LCD screen to create a larger illuminated area. This allows for patterned light to consistently expose the resin across the entire curing plane, resulting in significantly faster printing speeds compared to SLA technology. In contrast, SLA technology employs a pencil-like beam of light to trace each layer, with layer thickness ranging from 25 to 200 microns.

XiP Design

The XiP 3D printer from Nexa3D was designed with user-friendliness in mind, making 3D printing technology accessible to everyone, regardless of their expertise level. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced professional seeking a high-speed upgrade, the XiP offers exceptional performance and ease of use.

One of the key features that make the XiP so user-friendly is its Smart Resin System. This system includes no-mess cartridges that allow for quick loading and unloading of materials, even during live print jobs. Users can simply insert a cartridge and the XiP will automatically perform resin authentication and compatibility checks using NFC technology.

The XiP also has a fully modular design, enabling easy repairs and part replacements without needing to send the printer away for servicing.
