xMed 412 is a polypropylene-like material that combines enhanced strength with the bio-compatibility of medical-grade materials – making it ideal for producing medical devices. The high-impact, durable plastic has also been tested and cleared by the (FDA) for use within clinical environments. As a result, the polymer is used for manufacturing products such as orthotics guides and braces, and even to print nasal swabs for COVID-19 tests.
