Applied Rapid Technologies Expands Prototyping and Part Production Facility

Applied Rapid Technologies Corporation (ART), a leading provider of rapid prototyping and short-run production solutions announces the addition of 1,600 square feet to its production and warehouse space at its Fredericksburg, VA rapid prototyping facility. The expansion increases the facility to nearly 8,000 square feet.

“We’re very excited to be growing in this economy,” said Bruce LeMaster, ART president. “Our expanded facility enables us to increase our rapid prototyping and part production services, and our design and engineering services, meeting our increasing demand from customers.

“With our cost-effective prototyping solutions, we save our customers tens of thousands in unnecessary production expenses by avoiding tooling modifications resulting from design errors,” continued LeMaster. “Our prototypes facilitate the development of new products in a variety of industries so by expanding we are able to offer our customers with more production space to meet their production needs.”

Applied Rapid Technologies facility includes a rapid prototyping lab which includes stereolithography and Polyjet printing equipment, a model shop, urethane casting area, paint shop with silk screening, warehouse space, and administrative offices.
